96-well Segmented PCR plates are made of high-quality polymer materials polypropylene (PP) and polycarbonate (PC). The PC frame provides better mechanical stability, flatness and high durability. The tube body made of PP material has a uniform and ultra-thin tube, ensuring precise heat conduction and stability of experimental results. Microplates can be sealed with sealing film.

 

The 96-well detachable PCR plate adds more flexibility to the half-skirted PCR plate. Each column can be split into eight separate rows of tubes, which greatly increases the convenience of experiments and is simple and convenient to split. No additional tools are required to separate into strips of tubes, to readily adapt to different application needs.

How to use:

1. Use 1 strip of 8 tubes or 2 or few strips or the entire plate, depending on how many PCR reactions you need to run. Decide how many multiples of 8 wells are needed, and break (score) the corresponding pre-scored breakline (scoreline). No need for scissors or knife!
2. Prepare your PCR reactions and transfer them to the wells. 
3. Seal the wells with sealing film (you can get them from GeneBio Systems. ). Cut the unused sealing film off.

No more waste of your plates and sealing film when you are using a partial plate.
